I agree. This set of pieces are so animated, and violinists just can't help but physically show the enthusiasm and feel for them. However, the performance of the pieces and the pieces themselves certainly do not need anything visual to make them any better. Heard better, but heard worse! :)

This is a really fantastic performance. The Romanian Dances are made for violin. It just doesn't have the same soul with only the piano. For myself, though, I prefer to play "Pe Ioc" in a lower key. I just think it sounds nicer that way.

well, your intonation is certainly better than mine. but one suggestion: for the last one (Maruntel), you might want to play it a little faster.

Great performance. Wonderful bowing technique! I just wish if you going to use a music, you would not have stood behind it. You know, place the stand somewhere where it will not obstruct the view of you, the performer. That can be quite distracting.
