he wasnt such a terrible president what was he supposed to do...the nation was just attacked and he's sitting in a classroom filled with kids would you have preferred him to make a big scene or get up and leave and freak the kids out. or try to think about what he needs to do for 7 minutes.i agree the reaction wasnt much but can u imagine the things that ran through his head at that moment epecially scince hes the president just cause u couldnt see his reaction doesnt mean he didnt have one

Well if the nation was attacked, what do you think he should do? Sit there on his ass? He went to the school, the kids saw him, probably signed some autographs. It was time to get the hell out of there! The kids were going to find out sooner or later. Everybody in this comment-box says if he got up and walked away, that it would scare the children. Well you know what? That doesn't make very much since to me. He should go and address the very thing he tried so hard to become president of.

You stupid fucking people act as if the twin towers could have been resurrected in the 7 minutes George Bush sat down and maintained his composure. Did you want a president who would suddenly get up and panic and worry and frighten a classroom of children? You need a president who remains calm even in a situation such as 9/11, but still has a reaction within himself. No, i'm not supporting Bush as the best president, but his initial reaction is being so blown out of proportion.

LET'S GET ONE THING STRAIGHT PEOPLE. George Bush wasn't the greatest president but let's take an objective perspective and forget this is Bush, and look at this man as simply the president of the U.S. Now so that there isn't any biased opinion, really, tell me WHAT could have been done in 7 minutes. This man had the most appropriate reaction a person could have in a classroom full of children. Stop criticizing such an unimportant thing such as Bush's initial reaction and focus on bigger issues.
