i heard them at a shrine in rawalpindi/ kaliam !! n really luvd their way of qawwali !! highly classical,... they look really motivated by nusrat !!

After falling in love with Baba Farid, our stages to playing happened naturally. The sufi sama tradition is that when your heart is moved by the qawwals you give something up. Khan Sahib has moved me so much that i ow my whole life to him. -Tahir Qawwal

yes we needed to have permission from the pirs who organize the festival. Amena was the first woman to ever be given permission to play, now we play every year. LOVE
