Here's Part 1 of E3M1 (Abandoned Factory) of Painkiller: Hell Wars for the XBox. Tarot Cards used are Soul Catcher (Silver), Replenish (Silver), Fury (Gold), Time Bonus (Gold) and Haste (Gold). The unlocked Tarot Card is Forgiveness (Silver).

Each level will be completed with 100% kills and 100% secrets, as well as unlocking the Tarot card.

This is a very underrated and increasingly rare game. It feels at home on the XBox, and without the crashes of the PC version.

  • quake 3 engine anyone? :)

  • Actually this is the Pain engine. Not the idTech3 engine.

  • I haven't had any crashing issues with my PC version, although I got it just this year off of Steam so maybe the programming has been fixed.

  • This level is the perfect example (funny how you commented on this specific level). If you're in Demon Mode when the crane crashes at in the third area (where you first fight the Miso Commandos) on the PC version, the game crashes to the desktop every time. I have verified this on the CD version and Painkiller Black (DVD version). On 3 different PCs.

This is very common when I play since I use the Dark Soul card (which causes you to Demon Morph with 50 souls). You hit 50 souls there everytime.

  • If I can choice between The normal painkiller

or Overdose or Black edition whats the best

  • Black. :)

  • Wow this games sucks even in the time it came out, but dam what a badass soundtrack

  • I have just been assaulted with old-school style FPS and metal. I have to get this game.

  • @NESHero Correction - looks like an awesome occult themed FPS straight out of the old days.

  • looks like a bland generic early 2000s fps

  • wow great game i need play XD

  • i have painkiller black edition on PC

    fantastic game : D

  • I can literally feel the stiff aiming. And the physics in this version sucks aswell. Dont know why...

  • The soundtrack alone justifies the price!
