Very cool way to demo your guitars & pickups. The custom shop sounded as good as the originals.Beautiful tone. Are the original Deluxe amps the same soundeding as the original Deluxe Reverb amps-minus the reverb? I've always wanted to find a deluxe reverb '65. What do you think? Thanks

great sound.. maybe you can help me, im looking for pickups that brings me very close to John Mayers' sound. Im about to build a guitar, and i want that john mayer sound on my custom strat! So, do you know what im looking for?

Now thats what strats are suppossed to sound like. The 57 ftw. When are we going to have a modern classic year I wonder, like the '06', or the '97'?

as with most good old pickups, the 65 and 57 are better balanced, particularly on the top end. 63 pickups were ok.
