Why personal attacks? I challenge your views and I stand firm on the fact that the eccentric contraction that is necessary one's bodyweight plus the extra weight added by gravity is a strong conrtraction. One has to work his way to that point.
If you talk about fat loss, you are talking about obese people, if that is the case, I think they can not do it.
PLYO, if well done, is not for the general population... I am sorry.
You dont know anything about me. I wont respond to personal attacks
@AFROTHINKER Do you have a hurt leg or something? If not, then you really need to get in shape. This workout IS intense, but you don't need super lowerbody strength to do this.
Yes, if you feel more comfortable - try walking up them, and progress to "jumping" up them.
And, are you serious about the landing part? If so, then.. oh man.. get off the couch, stop playing video games and eating fast food, go outside, and run, jump.. You have 2 arms and 2 legs, what are you using them for?
I strongly disagree with you. I think it is IRRESPONSIBLE for oyu to prescribe these exercises for the general population. For any athlete to do PLYO, he or she needs to have a strong basis on strenght first.
The landing you are showing cant even be done by some athletes who are relatively strong let alone the genral population. SLOW PROGRESSION.
What about just climbing them as fast as one can???? Just climbing them!!!!
I dont care what anyone says, using stairs for plyo is intense. i do it every day at my house. in my vibram komodo sport video i show off some stair jumps. 4 at a time.
