and ya, we had a KILLER time on that portage, our oldtown was ridiculosly hard to portage and we had alota shitty yoaks making the already horrible tast of portaging boats even harder.

We were prepared but that portage tested us. We almost left one guy behind because of too much whining. Luckily, we had good weather because if it had been raining then that would have been it for the day.

It had a lot of vertical madness, but at the end there's a bunch of standing waves, so it's just water no rocks, and it was my favourite set. And you know all those sandbars when there's a bend? On one of those (which was quite small) we saw a lynx! Crazy! We ended at that Chateau and stayed on this big field.

P.S. I noticed that you had fishing rods. I didn't bring mine because quite often we end paddling at 7 or 8 o'clock and they're hard to bring on portages. What did you guys catch?

Well I wasn't one of the guys fishing, but one of them remembers Walleye's and Smallmouth Bass. But there weren't many fish. Yes, they did buy fishing licenses.

We did the killer portage and then used ropes to lower the gear (2:30 in video)and I'm glad we had perfect weather. Lynx sounds amazing!

This is so cool. I go to a Camp called Wanapitei near Temagami ontario. We originally were going to do a river called the Temagami River, but because of high water levels we decided to do the noir, resulting in a nine hour bus ride. My trip was 9 days and I recognized some of the pictures from yours. Did you do that 1.3 kilometer portage that basically went over a mountain? That one was killer. (Continued it next comment...)

Yes, there were 3 still digital cameras. Only after the trip did I decide to put this together for fun using Roxio Media Creator 7.
