The Voice of God sounds like???

Not having a lot of background in such things, I was somewhat surprised when in a recent video Geerup claimed to have heard the voice of God. It turns out that a lot of Christians claim to hear the voice of God. However, you really have to dig to get a description of what God's voice sounds like.

It is kind of weird...

I went to the Niagra falls once. And I went on one of those boats that bring you up close to the falls and the mist. I put on my Poncho and we got up close and I could have sword I heard a voice talk to me...Well anyway it went like this

Me: HELLO WATERFALL :D

Niagra: JOO WEEL LEERN TEW FEER MEEHHHHHHHHH

@pythor2 I've only seen Niagra Falls from up top on the observation decks where there aren't any voices. Darn, I feel cheated. No wonder I've been living without fear all this time. ;-)

It reminds me of some graffiti in Dead Space which said "No God, Know Fear; Know God, No Fear".

Interestingly, this is clearly in direct opposition to "You will learn to fear me", but it is also in direct opposition to "Know God, Know Fear; No God, No Fear" - the latter of which is a good thing. So maybe the guy at the end had a point, even if he didn't think he did... 4:39 lol

@bdobbsthepipe The whole "fear of God" concept is revolting to me. What kind of a being wants to be feared?

@childofconvenant - Continued - So God speaks to us through the truths of his words, and he reveals those truths through his Spirit, Only to thoise who are his children, but not in an audiable voice, but rather through understanding and obedience to his word - Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Once again, I do believe that God uses both the Holy Spirit and His Word to direct his children, BUT NOT ONE SCRIPTURE INDICATES HE DOES TODAY - VERBALLY!

@childofconvenant - As I have listed earlier, the scriptures say that God now speaks to us through The Word of God, (Heb. 1:2) Jesus is the Word made flesh (John 1:14) - God promised to preserve his word unto all generations (Psalms 100:5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.) if he preserved his words in written form, and he did - then we have the truths of God and therefore all his revelation, in the AV 1611 KJV Bible! @mykidsdad36 I just did answer you my friend, u said Hebrews 1:1 and i replied u with a later scripture Hebrews 3:7 - Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith) to day if ye will hear HIS VOICE do not harden ur hearts.. what else more should i give u more u need more. My friend studying the word of God without the spirit makes it hard and legalistic, study the word with an open heart and with the spirit. Be sincere about it Lord is dis true, do u really speak? It takes humility to admit u were wrong.

@childofconvenant - It's not that You won't answer me, it because you Can't answer me, and refute what I've stated, if you are to stay inside proper interpretational guidelines of the scriptures, and you know it. God's Word is truth, and the ONLY way to tell with error, it is state the Truth, and the Bible says in John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Don't you wnat to be free from your doubt, and despair, and the bitterness? You can be if you obey!

HAHA U Guys got it all wrong! The Lord have mercy on u all. The Creator of the Universe is My Father y wouldn't my Father want to give me shopping advice.
