Rayman 1 Playthrough (PS1) - Part 4 - Moskito's Nest

Hey guys, this is Part 4 of the Rayman Playthrough.

In this part we beat the first boss of the game, Moskito. Yes, I'm aware that only half of the level was in the video. The first part frustrated me so much I just gave up and recorded only the last half of the level. The boss is really all that matters anyway.

Next we finish up the Dream Forest levels by backtracking to collect the rest of the electroons.

Died only a few times...in the video that is. Off Screen (not recorded) I screwed up/died A LOT.

how you make music plays in a emulator?

for some games it doesnt play music!

Is this a new version of the old one? The color scheme is different then the one I had. I just bought a new game and will hopefully get it here in a few days but the coloring and some of the graphics are different.

@mactingqueen What do you mean by the old one? The PS1 version of the game only has one version. Maybe you're talking about the PC version, or the Saturn version?

When I was little, I always thought the first one was "Moskito Jr.", and cried because he's little and got beaten up (but befriended Rayman). So in this level, he was forced by his parent to kill Rayman against his wishes, which I thought made sense because he looked to be crying when lifting that Spike Berry on first stage phaze (I know they are sweat drops).

So in the boss, you fight Moskito Senior, who decided to deal with you personally. Failed, and Rayman gave no sympathy.

In the Atari Jaguar version, the mosquito who chases you through the forest at the start of the level is dark red/purple, just the same as the one you fight at the end of the level. It makes a lot more sense that way, as it's perfectly clear that it's a different mosquito from the one you befriended earlier in the game.

I would love to walk round and have my own little health bar in the corner lol tht would be jkes. And when u bang something u loose a point lol knowing me my health bar will only be like 3 points LOL XD

I love this game! But that mosquito in the beginning, carrying that huge sharp...boulder? Isn't tht your friend but Mr. Dark or what's hes name, forced him to do that? you can se that he feels bad when hes doing that.
