is it gonna help me if I took an arrow in the knee :D

@Kellygirl5538 I'm in the same boat as you are Kelly, waiting waiting and waiting and exercises like these are completely off limits to me. I even missed my first MRI because the hospital didn't call me about the appointment!
And I don't know how many people realize this, but leg extensions are the WORST thing you can do to healthy knees, let alone an injured one. The next worst thing to that is long distance jogging.

@leemhayward please help! I felt off my bike and landed on my knee, doc says its ok but i tried jogging now 3 weeks later and feel pain in the joint and my shin bone pops too. do you think ill be able to run normally again?

My orthopedist says leg extensions are one of the worst exercises for knees. Leg presses are much better.

hey, i've a knee injury at the moment that i'm workin on...
...just an observation i made while watchin the Video... i was told that you shouldnt lock out ur knee on the leg press machine which you appear to be doing and i was told that this can damage your knee... hey i'm no expert, it's just an observation and i'm using a leg press machine frequently at the moment, and just thought i'd pass this info on.

a good ol' Newfoundland boy helping out the global community. I love the idea of these workouts for knee injuries. I have a bad knee my self and I cant wait to give these exercises a shot. Got any other exercises to help with knees that you can add in. Many thanks from Mt. Pearl, NL

do those plyometric squats, do lunges, and explosive training for better speed (which is needed in soccer). Such as the 6 second workout, sprint the length of the field and time how long it takes you to get to the other side, then walk back...do this 6-8 times anywhere from 2-4 times a week.
You can always make progress, regardless of age. One thing to keep in mind is that you'll never be as young as you are right now, so start now.

Bodyweight squats and lunges would help at the start, but eventually you'll need to incorporate some weight training.
