Engineers - I hope that is a rented apartment and not an expression of your personal taste in decor. Because, well, damn. You know? And that's coming from someone who lives in a tiny flat that is pure UK 1970's viz. someone who can't possibly give a toss about decor and all that (and would consider a maven for such to be an unutterable piss-off).

Except that even I could not manage to wake up every day to a replica of the lobby of any random Nebraska travel lodge c.1988.

The house is exactly like I purchased it in early 2000s from a retired couple. They had strange tastes. After the success of the first video I couldn't see fit to change anything for continuity of the remaining videos. It is not a set. It is my poorly decorated house. For real. Zoey loves you, too.

You have my respect. It falls to very few to simultaneously hate/not care/delight in the results of our moved-into weirdness-by-wallpaper fate.

Your dedication to the wider continuity of your public cat-information series is admirable, Should you ever decide on a reboot, then I'd be honoured to come over and help you out with some backwater-appropriate Googie wonders. But actually, no - don't you change a damn thing.

Of course now I realize the cat is out of the bag. By my own admission I purchased the house in early 2000s. The first cat video took off in 2008 as you can easily verify. I believe I actually purchased the house in 2003 so this implies a 5-year period where I did not redecorate due to laziness. The continuity of the videos are a convenient excuse, but the reality is that I just don't have any interest in decor. I'll make it to the UK one of these days and join you at the pub.

My 3 cats say that they thought cat laser beams only went Pew Pew Pew when shot from their front-curled paws?

And there is no name, no remembered sound, no reliable description for eye-laser weaponry because to name it would be to invoke it and that would lead to all levels of horror, hell and apocalyptic Basement-Cat-Rising and Tacgnoll and all.

Mind you, these 3 - its like Devon's 3 thickest felines somehow found their way to my door.
