http://www.shed30in30detox.com/ In the olden days, being a little plump was a sign of social stature and financial well being. These days, with the "$1 Menus" at the local drive through, obesity has a more negative connotation. In our generation of increased fitness awareness, obesity is an ever growing problem. It's a situation that is not only shaving years off of life expectancy and decreasing quality of life, but its also costing us plenty. The surgeon general had dubbed childhood obesity years ago as an epidemic, and presently, greater than %15 of children and teens are overweight. That's a 9% increase from the 1960s and over 75% of obese kids will go on to become obese adults with all the medical complications and disease that obesity brings. So how does that affect the bottom line? There are various preventive measures to control obesity, like anti-obesity drugs and surgery, but the primary treatment of obesity is weight loss through dieting and physical exercise. There are professional obesity programs run by hospitals or other health care centers, as well as regular commercial programs. The programs run by hospitals include low calorie dietary regimes, behavior modification, physical activity and counseling. Are you feeling that your bad lifestyle habits are finally catching up with you? Is the beer belly of yours is stopping your from pursuing your normal activities? If the answer is yes, then it's about time you did something to fix this problem of yours and take steps to fight it properly. The biggest problem with an obese person is not the subcutaneous fatty layer but the lack of desire to fight against it. There are lots of overweight people out there who know that their excessive weight is causing a lot of problems in their life but fail to take steps against it.
