Glen of Imaal Terriers are not related to any current breed of dog. They are much older than almost all terrier breeds.

i <3 Glen of Imaal terriers!! i have a 1 yr old wheaten-colored female named Timbuktu. she is 15 inches tall+wieghs about 35-40 lbs. her fav thing 2 do is eat, eat, eat!! although she is not overfed, she eats alot!!

They actually kind of look like big un-show quality norfolk terriers!

My Grandma had one named Seamus McDoogle. Im gonna get one for myself now that she's passed. I've read these dogs are very rare, and I would be doing the species a favor by buying one and breeding it.
