Creemos en un solo Dios Padre Todopoderoso, creador del cielo y de la tierra, de todas las cosas visibles e invisibles.
Y en un solo Señor, Jesucristo, Hijo único de Dios, nacido del Padre antes de los siglos, Dios nacido de Dios, Luz salida de la Luz, Dios verdadero trasunto de Dios verdadero. Nacido, no hecho. Consubstancial con el Padre: o sea de su misma substancia. Por quien todo ha sido hecho cuanto está en el cielo y en la tierra.

Que por nosotros los hombres y por nuestra salvación descendió del cielo y fue encarnado por el Espíritu Santo nacido de la Virgen María. Y fue hecho hombre.

Sufrió pasión bajo Poncio Pilatos, fue, sepultado, resucitó al tercer día.

Subió al cielo, y está sentado a la derecha de Dios Padre Todopoderoso, y volverá para juzgar a los vivos y a los muertos. Y su reinado no conocerá fin.

Y creo en el Espíritu Santo, Señor de la vida que procede del Padre y del Hijo, a quien hay que adorar y glorificar con el Padre y el Hijo. Que ha hablado por mediación de los profetas.

Creo en la Santa Iglesia Católica y Apostólica única. Y reconozco un solo bautismo para la remisión de los pecados. Esperamos la resurreción de los muertos y la vida del mundo futuro.

We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth of all that is, seen and unseen.

And, in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, light from light true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father, through him all things were made.

For us men and for our salvation, he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man.

I believe in one holy catholic and apostolic church. And I acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins, we look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.
