I live in england and I have 2 relatives with 1st hand experience of the taliban; the war was wrong but the taliban were not nice people, anyone who didnt do as they asked was is killed.

or ask the man who was forced to plant explosives on the giant buddas!

dont get me wrong afghanistan probably needs such people to keep order and there r just as bad people still in power and taliban stopped opium production(this is opposite to USA propoganda)

taliban DID exept billions from americas bush administration(they were trying to get MORE money from shell and exxon for oil and gas lines from caspien basin, they wouldnt pay, so we invaded) and were even put in power by america; so theyre not nice people.

@tpvalley ,let me explain on why i think taliban are good.. first they were never corrupt, if they were they would of accepted usa mountains of gold offer.second, they are still the only people an average afghan could seek to get justice done in afghanistan.do u know how much bribe they would ask u in this karzai government offices.for God sakes,, my relative went to afghanistan , in kandahar, and the mayor asked for 50,000 dollars for paper work which was lost in the wars so he could sell land
