Stories Of The Music Business - Part 1

I wanted to share some stories that I've been through in this business.
I have countless stories to share so I thought I'd start with my first experience.
When posting these videos I won't ever say the name of the person who I'm talking about.
I don't want to throw anyone under a bus, I just want to give you guys more insight as to what it is I've been going through for years. What's great about these horrible experiences is that you grow and start to take on more responsibility instead of relying on other people. I now write all of my own songs or co-write with people so I know I'll never have to experience something like this again.

Hey Lisa,

Its such a relief to hear that you had a situation like this and I`m not the only one. I had a producer (who will remain nameless) who was supposed to produce three tracks for me after I paid him $3000. We did two together, we started on the third and he was going on and on about how he was going to shop me to labels, how people were already interested, etc. All of a sudden he left the country and I haven`t been able to get a hold of him since. Zip. What an ass :/.

But the thing is, Lisa. What you should've done - was written your own songs.

Then arranged it by yourself until you could go into a studio with a producer you trust to do it. Therefore, you wouldn't have been screwed over.
