  • Fot those who use a laptop to hear any DTS sound, too bad, you need an external amplifier and extra speakers. From a home computer just surround speakers with amplifier and then it's ok. . You only can enjoy DTS if you have the equipment for it, otherwise the sound will be rather soft.

  • @simera, What you need is indeed some missing codecs prolly. Search in google for k-lite codec pack, it's free . Works with WinXP, Vista, and 7. Install the latest update, then you have DTS. Just play the parts after installing de codec-pack with your media player...voila!

  • @srimera, you need the best codecs to hear anything because it is in Digital Theatre Sound, it sounds awasome here!

  • @jjobie well there is that, yeah. Fair point

  • I am SO looking forward to the new version that Jeff Wayne is working on (with Liam Neeson as the narrator!). Wayne intends to expand on the characters more & flesh them out, while also updating the arrangements and production for the 21st century (read: the present, lol). I've been feeling for a LONG time that this work is overdue for a modern treatment without the "disco era" sound; it makes much of the original album sound dated, people's childhood memories notwithstanding. Bring it on Wayne!

  • Martians speak English. Who knew! :)

  • @Therealmiracleworker It's the plane fare that makes it so darn expensive...

  • @olayhakan I know she's playing a marimba, I think if she plays the harp too, it's Julia Thornton.

  • @freedumb2003 this is really one if the best shows ever. I have now seen it twice and have tickets to go again at the end of the year.

Instead of preaching the "come to the USA" line, why not buy a ticket and come to the UK?

  • go see this show live best 2 hours u will have

  • @papoj1PVR The problem has nothing to do with your codecs, or with DTS audio, which can't be transmitted in a YouTube video anyway. The problem is that whoever ripped the audio to a file that can be uploaded has clamped the audio level much too low.

Installing new codecs will do nothing to solve this issue.

  • Those martian voices sounds like a weird amalgam of Julian Clary and Alan Rickman.

  • Did you ever see a funkier conductor? great music, great orchestra. I hope I can see this live one day. :-)
