I actually remember playing this, had a great russian-style soundtrack on the C64, the above looks and sounds to be the Spectrum version ;)

you cant beat the full price version in it's original box, they didn't exactly go that cheap but there were 1.99 games which were meant to be 1.99
£1.99 was the budget price on 8-bit computers, everything ended up on £1.99 eventually if you were willing to wait for it.

The games i used to buy were usually £1.99.
