I think it's great you brought up this topic Dan. I agree with you on almost everything you've said, but feel I should point out that if wiki leaks did share information that compromised a certain mission in Afghanistan by sharing a little too much information that fell into the wrong hands, at that point I would call it something close to treason and would consider wiki leaks to be a threat rather than a "media institution".
