LA VITESSE ET LA PIERRE

'La Vitesse Et La Pierre' is an epic short film. It is a story told entirely through still images and sound. A fun, poetic, melancholy and a highly visual voyage for the viewer.
It was created by film director Igor Zimmermann and photography & film duo Frode Fjerdingstad & Marcus Palmqvist. Produced by B-Reel Films in collaboration with the Swedish brand Whyred.
They explored new sides of the creative process to try and find a new visual form inbetween film and photography. They used new procedures and changed roles and responsability all the time to loosen up the traditional way of making a film, the borderline between actor, photographer and director was dissolved.
The collaboration between the artists is based on the dynamic between three very different minds.
The film is shot on location in Western Sahara, Norway and Stockholm.
