This TG7000 is a heavy duty, high production grinder with one of the lowest operating cost in it's class. Dependant on grinding variables, the owner has reported grinding materials at a rate greater than 500 yards an hour! Engine oil, filters (oil, fuel, coolant, air) have been replaced. Clutch serviced with oil and filter changed. All wear components at tub floor opening replaced including wear plates at leading edge and deflector shield. The following hammer mill components replaced: hammers, cutters, safety pin, wedges and block supports with all associated hardware, and side wipers. New paint job with all decals replaced. New shear bar/anvil. This machine has been well taken care of and has never missed a service interval. It's ready to grind today!
The TG7000 has a 1000hp CAT 3412 Engine with twin turbos coupled to a PT Tech wet clutch with a gear reduction of almost 2:1 that is guaranteed to tear through any stump or it's like that will fit in the 13' wide tub opening. That's right...the tub is 13' at its top opening and 10' at its base with a depth of almost 5'! Once the material is in the T-1 steel constructed tub, it is forced to the mill by four agitators that are welded to the tub side walls. Once the material contacts the hammer mill it is "game on."

Not just another hammer mill. The patented Vermeer Duplex II drum is installed in this unit. It is the latest technology in hammer design and wear item replacement procedures. It has reversible hammers, cutters, drum skin, side cutters, etc hence given the name Duplex Drum. That's double life out of all of your wear components! Unlike other hammer mills on the market that have straight rows of cutters lined up in a north, south, east, west fashion; the hammers/cutters on the 7000 are strategically placed so that only two of its 22 cutters are engaging the material at any given time, yet the hammers/cutters are angled to give full face coverage in a complete revolution. This provides more horse power to each cutter fully utilizing the power of the 1000 hp engine and the brute torque of the PT Tech wet clutch. Result: Production! There is no hammer mill on the market easier to maintain. No more pin and plate rotors, no more balancing out hammers, and there are many more benefits to offer!

Safety Matters. To keep your crew safe and out of harms way, there is the patented Thrown Object Restraint System (TORS) that covers about a third of the tub. When the material comes in contact with the mill there is the possibility that debris could be thrown out of the tub, so the unit has a deflector shield directly over the mill directing material to the side walls of the tub and TORS and not the open sky. That's not all it does. For that brushy stuff that likes to bridge up because of lack of pressure on top of the material or the long material that just will not stand up at the mill; the TORS actually acts as a compressor for the brush forcing it down on the mill while standing long material up as the tub brings the material over the hammer mill. If you find that the TORS isn't needed or just needs to be temporarily moved, There is a button on your remote and at the machine control panel that allows you to open or close it whenever you like so it's never a nuisance or in your way, but it's always there for your safety when you need it.
Carry it away...all of it! The 7000 has a one piece 48" belt that starts under the hammer mill and runs continuously out the back of the machine, up the conveyor, over a magnetic pulley to remove any metal debris, then on to your truck, and off to market. "One piece" means no separate belly belt, no transition area between belly and discharge conveyor belt, minimal grindings under machine minimizing fire risk and buildups, better belt longevity, etc. There is more open mill box area for material to fall freely onto conveyor, thus permitting freshly ground material to escape faster meaning more production and no clogging!

Other Features:
• Remote Control: Engine/operation kill button, Clutch engage/disengage, Auto, Tub speed, Conveyor lower/raise, Reverse tub, TORS open/close, Reverse engine fan. Machine can be controlled up to 300' away.
• Reversible engine fan. Either programmed by timer on the machines control panel or on demand button located on the remote.
• Tub Drive Tensioner: Automatic hydraulically-tensioned mechanical slide. Benefit: Longer chain life by only applying pressure under heavier loads and releasing pressure under light ones. No manual adjustment for chain.
• Super Single Tires (6) 425/65R 22.5 with Alcoa aluminum rims and air ride suspension.

This is a few of the great features that this machine has to offer. This unit has been prepped and it's ready for work. This is not a unit that will need a little TLC. It has been given it all its life and has just been revitalized to ensure a continued productive life and a profitable one for its new owner.
