The intro should start repeating itself without a break in the last note at about 0:07, and the start of the chorus shouldn't have five repetitions of the same note (it's actually three and then two of a higher one) but it's pretty good for rebuilding a song from scratch.

The original was an electronic dance song by Tears for Fears before Gary Jules covered it slower with the piano, so this really isn't such an outlandish idea.
