Is there going to be a long set of railroad tracks dividing heaven. As in life here we choose the better of alternatives, heaven is still better than hell i guess.

There wont be any division, remember, in Heaven, those in authority serve rather than be served and secluded so it will be nothing like on earth. I only know a little from the little we are told but I'm pretty sure God has got this covered, it will be awesome.

All I have heard all my life is how wonderful heaven will be. This of course is coming from people who have never been there. from what I have heard heaven may not be as great as they say. I heard one preacher talk of a dream where she was shown different mansions in different stages of construction because some had stopped earning rewards on earth or had not earned enough.If this is true then are we again going to be living in a world of the haves and the have nots?

The bible says everyone will be fully satisfied, raptures of Joy as the bible says. But I believe we will have different capacities depending on how close we get to God on earth.

I may be a 2litre, you may be a 4litre, but we will both be completely full though you hold more than me. Also Heaven is a place of growing, so my 2ltr will increase with time and so will your 4ltr.

Personally i consider the dreams/visions of mansions to be symbolic in nature, no roofless mansions :p

But what good is gifts in Heaven? I can't understand the point of these rewards. Jesus is the only reward that we need in Heaven. I would rather have riches on this earth and be able to go to heaven than wait for these rewards in heaven. It's a simple fact...we won't need rewards in heaven as much as we do here. At least here we could enjoy the rewards..I mean really..what are we going to do with rewards in heaven. I just think it's a waste. Jesus is the only reward we need in Heaven.

But I agree, God is our greatest reward, of all things, I want Jesus to call me a good a faithful servant, to meet Jesus face to face and He not be pleased with me is not a nice thought.

But all things about rewards are biblical and there for a reason, if you don't want to seek rewards in Heaven then thats between you and God but maybe you can do a study on it and see how you feel.

@joshua59771 look at it this way... compare your time here on earth and time in heaven. It is NOTHING compared to heaven. We don't know what those rewards are, and just because you do have nice things on earth, doesn't mean you won't in heaven. Look at King Soloman, who prayed for wisdom, well God made him the wisest man and the richest and wealthiest. Then you have Job, who proved his faith in God, so God blessed him with even more.

Hi, our knowledge of rewards comes from the bible and Jesus COMMANDS us to store up our treasures in Heaven rather than earth.

Some will have no reward at all and they will barely make it to Heaven (1 Corinthians 3:15). I think the mistake you make is your supposition that rewards are material types of rewards like gold (the floor is made of that stuff) or jewels.

I believe it will be our position and responsibility in Heaven.
