I have one of these, something breaks every couple months but I still like it. Costs a lot to keep it running.

I have driven this truck for about 4 year and have put over 100,000 miles on it myself. I daily drive it in Southern California, take it to the mountains or desert on weekends. I agree that the power is decent but the transmission could have used another gear. The best parts about this truck hands-down is the steering feel and handling. It doesn't have the loose steering others seem to have and has minimal body-roll (for a truck anyway). The ride quality both on and off road is great as well.

I own this truck and think its the best truck for that model year. My job required me to drive a 2004 and I spent over 40,000 miles in the driver seat. It was so comfortable I went out and bought one. My 2008 now has 30K on it and nothing has gone wrong. I am 6' 2" 225 and have spent more than 10 hours behind the drivers seat without fatigue.
