  • If I hadn't been paranoid, I could have loaded the car trunk full of speakers!

  • I literally tripped over what was probably the last speaker from the Albion Drive-In a few years ago. It was half buried in the dirt way in th back of the lot.

  • NINE THOUSAND VIEWS...WOW!

  • I swear there's nothing sadder than an abandoned Drive-In :0(

  • This footage is originally from my original cable series REQUIRED VIEWING (1979-2007)....the footage was later used in the OUTDOOR MOOVIES spin off. We visited the site again, after the screen was gone, but, it wasn't the same. I love how from one side of the screen, it looks like you could almost show a movie, the other side falling down...very striking images. We walked around for a while, saw a lot of speakers out in the field. I think the snack bar is still there.

  • @RQVOutdoorMoovies No sir, Massachusetts. Dave

  • The more I look at it, this might just be my FAVORITE abandoned site it's screen tower is striking, especially seeing both sides...from the front it looks more intact. I juist posted a couple of new drive in theater segments you'd find enjoyable.

  • @davelounder Which drive in theater did you run? Was it in Ohio?

  • Sad ... very, very sad! Dave Lounder (Drive-In Theatre Historian and Former Drive-In Operator)
