Episode 10: Alexandra
Lexa, a 30-year-old Red Cross employee from Colorado, is going to be one of the biggest challenges Stacy and Clinton have ever faced. Coming from a broken home and on her own since the age of 18, Lexa developed a defiant attitude in order to survive her painful past. Her "librarian meets french maid" style has gotten her written up at work and written off in the dating scene. She has the potential to benefit more than anyone in the history of What Not to Wear, but will her abrasive and defensive attitude keep her from achieving a true life change?

  • Personally, I don't think lexa should have been on this show... she seems to have emotional issues that go way deeper than what Stacey and Clinton can deal with. Especially the part where they threw out all her clothes, for someone who came from very little, she probably values what she has, and throwing out her clothes could not have been emotionally helpful at all.

  • My personal take of this episode? If they don't want to get their wardrobe thrown out, or get the makeover, don't agree to do the show. They don't lie, they tell the person who is nominated EXACTLY what to expect.

About the lolita, there's nothing wrong with having and wearing lolita clothes when you're socializing, but when you're at work and your higher-ups have said it's inappropriate, leave it at home. My friend wears lolita clothes, but not to important meetings or work.

  • "I dont think it looks like me" 32:47....WHAT!? If I looked like her before picture...thank god i dont....I'd be soooooo happy to look like the after...i different BETTER LIVE WITH IT

  • @TheLadyEri Right on!

  • @oreoovercookie I totally agree with you, she clearly has some issues and the hotess totally overlooked (or couldn't see it). It felt mean to me to force someone who was not ready for the transformation.

  • 40:30- is she wearing skinnys? I thought she said she would never.. Hmm she changed drastically.

  • they need to do more research, honestly, and keep on top of subcultures...not everybody dresses the same way you know, and that's a GOOD thing.

  • It sounds like her co-workers are complete jerks.

  • painfully awkward knee rub thing @ 5:14

  • Her glasses sit waaay too low on her nose

  • Her whining is very annoying and considering that she had such a rough background she should be more grateful. I would look at this as a reward for making it through my struggle.

  • Her lolita clothing looked like crap anyway so I'm glad they threw it all away.
