@antarriaga254 you're exactly right. as sinners (and everyone is a sinner. Sinners aren't "bad people." A Sinner is anyone who's character is unlike God's and that covers everyone.), we are all deaf, blind and ultimately dead to God. what you're wanting is for God to come and help you see, help you hear, and bring you to life. Go to a church that teaches the Bible and is willing to pray for you and with you and share life with you while you seek to know God.

@antarriaga254 god works in mysterious ways. if something isnt in his plan, he wont grant you that. you will thank him later. everything works out in the end, its just that WE dont have the big picture. and if he does answer a prayer, its in a way you wont realize for a while. and sometimes it takes a while. <3

For those of you wondering why God doesnt speak to you, I have to ask, are you reading your Bible? God gave us his word, and the word was flesh and walked among us. If you arent hearing what he has already said, what more would he have to say to you? God has given us everything we need, within the pages of the Bible, and within the scars on Christs hands and feet. Just trust in what he tells you, and you wont go wrong.....no matter what the world may tell you.

sometimes if you're waiting for a reply from God you're not pure in heart. he may be waiting for you to listen. you're to wrapped up in yourself that you can't hear him. you need to be strong in your faith and strong in God. if your walk is not right talk to God. just give it all to God with a pure and faithful heart and he will listen. but sometimes it's the most terrible of prayers are the ones that God listens to and answers.
