I don't think so. Islamic republic needs some competition to grow faster and this is human nature. As long as the system has Velayat concept it will be hard to change. This happens precisely because of the motivation behind the adjustment: It is the hedonistic people who are asking for more than they have, never satisfied. This is to please them. The problem is that Iran is in no position to establish such fierce competitive atmosphere, both because it has no sufficient intelligentsia to dismantle foreign interests behind private corporations, and also because the Revolution is not even over and a big struggle is ahead, nothing to do with times of comforts.

I share your concern but if cultural and religious work is also done it may counter act and have a good working and Islamic society. I don't want to go into internal politics but one ex president is to blame for earlier mistake and I hope Ahmadinejad is compensating for it.
