A-10 Strike on T-72s at MCAGCC Twentynine Palms, CA for WGL and ArmA 2 - Second Video

A brief A10 strike against T-72s on my unleased island based on MCAGCC Twentynine Palms, CA. I flew the aircraft and was more interested in showing you the terrain than striking the targets.

The island is close to being complete and it will be released as soon as it is ready. The "island" was made with DEM Data (10 meter) and satellite imagery. There are many custom buildings etc. The sky texture will also be different in the release.

It covers Main side, the civilian area to the W of it, the main airfield to the NW of mainside, the training town(s) to the NE of mainside and the low desert area N/NW and the mountains N/NE of mainside. I have stayed fairly close to actual building placement within most of the base but I have also added some areas E/SE of mainside that don't really exist. It is not an exact replica by any means but the main stuff is basically where it is in real life.

This is absolutely incredible. Im in the process of building a new gaming rig. Cant wait to play this. When do you think you will have the island available for download? How big is it? When I first started the clip, I thought I had accidentally selected a real video of an A-10 in Afghanistan, and then I looked at the cockpit just to confirm.  Of cousre the HUD shouldve gievnthe game away, but its amazing that for a moment I thought it was real terrain. Good job :D

I am not sure exactly when it will be done but it is very close. I still have to optimize a few things finish placing the last items on the island. It is roughly 400 square kilometers. (20 x 20). It is entirely land so every centimeter of it is playable.
