Ya Afghanistan has a recent history of problems but no religion will fix it. People need education including women and human rights, its the only solution. There is a warlord mentality there that has existed for hundreds even thousands of years. Most of these people can barely read or write. Most third world countries are very religious but live a horrible, poor life. Secular countries that have rule of law decided by the majority and education have a much better country to live in.

dude, thank you for your comment, however i made this as a completley educational documentary, for people who may ahve an interest in afghanistans turbulent history, and the facts behind why it went downhill since the soviet invasion. I mean no offence...just trying to keep the peace

This is a great start and I am sure it took you a lot time to create such a beautiful video. One correction needs to be made is, the Russians were brought to Afghanistan by Babrak Karmal and no one mentions his name. thx

So what did U.S. support of the mujahideen and other Afghan rebels do for the region? After the overthrow of the PDP by the mujahideen in Kabul, the mujahideen fell to fighting amongst themselves. They laid waste to citiesincluding Kabul, terrorized the civilian populations, looted, staged mass executions, closed schools, and raped thousands of women. They began ruling the country and looking for lucrative ways to make money, one of which was poppy cultivation.
