Activision Classics - Cosmic Commuter (Part 1)

When I was younger, I always had trouble landing the rocket module, since the instructions to do so was a bit confusing, and only had taken off at rare times. Now, I have near-completely mastered it, making it, at farthest, at level 4.

From the manual: "Pick up space commuters in your Astrobus and deliver them to Grand Central Space Station while staying on schedule. Watch your fuel level. When the indicator drops to 3, your engines will sputter. Refuel by flying into a purple fuel pod. Fuel pods are unavailable once you've completed the route."

It seems that in recordings, I always had messed up somewhere after the first stage. In this recording, I did just fine, but I tried really hard at it.

I have to get this game on cart. Its like a pre-8-bit Fantasy Zone.

The nice thing about Cosmic Commuter is that you can treat it like a normal shooter and not have to worry about the space commuters so much (but I don't know what happens if you're completely lazy with them). In Fantasy Zone, do you have to save people, too?

You got me here, because this was an Atari 2600 game I never had. Never heard of it until now. It looks as if it is Activision's answer to Defender. Plays a lot like Defender anyway. That isn't a bad thing either.
