i too was named after the "my sarah" song, it seems this maybe why there was 5 sarahs in my class at school when i was a kid!! lol. beautiful song.x

That's because they're two different songs.

This one is Sarah from 1979 on the Black Rose album. It's about Phil's daughter and yeah, it's the better of the "Sarah" songs.

The other one (the piano one) is from 1973 on the Shades of a Blue Orphanage album and it's about his Grandmother. Probably one of their weakest albums (incredibly rushed).
