  • This is absolutely stunning! Totally worth trying....but is it still origami even if you have to cut the paper to form the hexagon?

  • @deryer Well, sure! After all, you do have to cut a square before folding it, too, right? It's just more common to get precut squares than it is to get precut hexagons (although that, too, exists).

  • Thank you for posting this video. Originally i looked at the diagrams

and gave up after step 21. Your video spurred me on to finish it.

  • @pmielke Hehe, I think step 21 made me pause and think for a moment, too. Great to hear this helped you complete the snowflake!

  • @Uncharted3King As I noted in the video, I have a video that explains slowly how to cut a hexagon. No need to get impolite, just jump to that video, and then come back to this one.

  • YOU KNOW WHATS REALLY COOL!?!? I made 2 snowflakes then put the back sides of each together and interlocked the spokes at the ends; and made one amazing snowflake:D

  • I can't get past the first hard part. I've had 5 failures. My waste paper basket is getting full. I love the video and the snowflake on the video, though.

  • I didn't make a snow flake I made a snowball

  • no entiendo :'(

  • 31:43 MINUTES!?!?

  • @SuperKrissy1999 yeah I made this without any problem

  • @deryer

If the shape you need is not a square or a rectangle, and you need to cut the paper into another shape (hexagon or any other) it is not calle origami, but KIRIGAMI (kiri = cut), so AmasSara is wrong when agreeing it is origami too.

  • fucking speed

  • Thank you for the tutotrial,I enjoy your videos !
