An overshoot is when the plane comes off the end of the runway :P
-
Geezus, another tard that dos'e know what the fuck he is talking about. Stop posting crap
-
Looks to me like it was just a go-around due to possible traffic to near or on the runway
-
@Stevoiboyofalkirk too high, another aircraft on the runway, ATC orders there are many reasons..
-
@syafiqpilot so?... these are perfect VFR conditions why use the ILS
-
what city is this
-
The plane didn't detect the ILS .
-
@Stevoiboyofalkirk Maybe there was already a plane on the runway still taxing off
-
how could it be an overshoot if you havent even reached the runway?
-
this is one of those moments where the passengers and pilots yell dammit as they do the go around

If he was coming in too fast or too high, 170's dont have leading edge slats, nor spoilers to aide in speed reduction. The actual landing was probably much lower and slower than this.
