  • Plz help me!!I'm bought a XE-A102 and need to program the tax rate. I don't need different tax tables, just a 14% vat on everything I sell.I live in South Africa and 14% is our vat rate.

how do I remove the preprogrammed plu's and 4 different tax tables from the receipts that print?

  • @chris2jvr you'll have to watch all my videos, other than that I can't help you. sorry :(

  • how do you program dept 2 &/or 3 to be non taxable when they are already set at 6%

  • @ray4burn

you can view the code to make under programming printing mode for sharp XE A102 cash register. Once you figure your code you can then program depts with non tax

  • @ray4burn please view my video "programming departments for Sharp XE A102 cash register"

make sure your VAT number is 7 not 17

then.. your code should be 0000007

    hope that helps

  • I live is seattle washington and our tax for foods here for our hot dog stand is 10% 100000. We are opening today for our grand opening and our stand is called DOGGY STYLE HOT DOGS...lol its in the wallingford area of seattle washington. thanks for your videos and ill check back for any other updates. great luck with your business.

  • I have learned that we should ALL watch your video over and over and over to make sure we understand. becasue today i was able to follow your video and make all those changes. the only thing i need to learn that was not on your video or videos is the pink tax buttons on the far left. what are those for? i will have to find out. I was given the XE-A106 and its the same as your 102 for programing. thanks so much for your videos i used them alot and may do my own videos on this register.

  • Thank you so much! Your video was so much more helpful than the actual instructions the register came with!

  • thank you so much for uploading this video! It was really helpful

  • I have reset my register and reprogrammed my tax rates for departments 1-4...my tax rate for dept. 2 is 7.5 percent. However when computing tax it calculates extra; i.e. my price for dept 2 is always 16.00, with 7.5 percent tax it should be 17.20, but it calculates to 17.44... any help would be much appreciated.

  • I need help with the A106 tax rate please.

  • I need help with the A106 tax rate please.

  • I have a question.

I have a sharp cash register. Departments 1, 2, 4 do not work. I use only 3 because 1,2,and 4 say error when i click it but it worked before.

  • I have watched your videos and they are very helpful, but I still have a problem. We own a salon. The cash register calculates tax on retail products sold on dept 1 @ 9.5%. Service, which is dept 2, is not taxed. These work fine. We are now offering another service, and we have to charge 10% for this service. I want this 10% to be placed on dept 3 @ 10%. The cash register is programmed for 10% on Dept 3, but when you plug numbers to the register, it is calculating @ 9.5%. What do I do?
