Aloha family and friends,
I have chosen to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. During my mission, I will be teaching the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ for a period of 24 months/two years. During this time I have to leave my family and friends, pausing all school and work to focus all my efforts and time to the Lord. As a missionary for the Church, I will be an ambassador of the Lord. On my mission, I will simply proclaim the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ, teaching them gospel truths, which I know.

When choosing to serve a mission, one goes through an extensive process and puts in an application to the Church. One has the choice to go on a mission, however, one does not have the choice for their destination; that is given through revelation from the Lord.

This video is of me finding out where I have been called to serve. You'll have to watch to see which mission I was assigned to labor in. I waited to open my call until I returned home from school at BYU in Utah. I opened my call right after our church meeting in Makiki Ward at the Honolulu Tabernacle on June 5th, 2011. I was so fortunate to have so many people come to watch and support me as I embark in this part of my life.

If you would like to know more information about my mission or the Church, visit https://www.facebook.com/ElderDalisay?sk=info. Feel free to like the page so that you will constantly be updated with my information because I would still love to keep in contact with you!

Mahalo nui loa for all the support,
Reshley Andrew Dalisay

  • That's is so amazing, my brother leaves to argentina this Wednesday I'm so proud of him. And missionaries love everyone no matter what even if they choose not to want to hear the message but missionaries never force them to do anything.

  • @Sffilk dude you know nothing. The 11th says you can worship who you want. Missionarys dont MAKE people worship as mormons they INVITE them to. It is the persons choice weather they choose to or not . If you dwell on the minor technical details of the gospel that you yourself do not fully understand you will miss the oppertunity to partake of the fullness and power of the true church.

P.s. If you do not agree with mormonism then fair enough but you are being hipocritical by trolling on this vi

  • @dookization Actually, I do. I probably know more about Mormonism than you do. For instance, by going out and trying to convert people, he's in violation of Mormonism's 11th Article of Faith (where everyone is allowed to worship as they so please?), and the 13th (being honest in dealings with others - he lies about what Mormonism is to get people to become apostates to their present faith and become Mormon). Would you like to know more?

  • @sffilk You obviously know nothing about what he'll be doing, and nothing about the Mormon church. Educate yourself before making uneducated comments.

  • And he'll be shilling for a destructive cult for 2 years. I feel sorry for him.
