I have 6gb ram 3x2 DDR3 1600mhz overclocked with my i7-50 xmp profile 1 and I reocmmend people using smart ram on iobit / advance system care.
if your really lacking in memory use a usb flash drive 2.0, right click , properties , sped boost.
google it for more information.

If this program is actually doing anything its slowing down your computer...Ram is not a resource like people see it. You don't need to conserve it. By having programs loaded into ram your computer will launch programs faster. This is one of those situations where its best to just leave it alone.

@LUnarcry52 no , its useful only to clean up your memory after you play some game which uses much ram or some program , its crap if you set some program like this to automatically clean up the memory , because it will remove from memory the things that, the game or program loaded , so its just going to make the program load again everything (most of the programs do this ) ... and the ram run faster or whatever according to their frequency and capacity ...

2 x 2 gb couse .. it does not make any difference wid the only one 4gb ram .. and if u buy 4gb ram if accidently it gets blasted up then u will loose 4gb and if .. u buy 2 x 2gb ram .. then only one ram will be blasted up and u will loos only 2gb. ...

These "ram optimizer" program just brings idle program to pagefile. Win Xp by default will do that automatically. So These programs are unnecessary. The performance gain is negligible. Seriously folks, upgrade your RAM 1GB only USD$20
