His character was as a soft spoken man. Like the saying..."walk softly and carry a big stick". He didn't go blabbing like most people, but if you crossed him....you be dead.

how come, in the show, he hardly EVER talked. i've seen so many episodes, he just so rarely talks.

Incorrect, there were 635 shows in total and it IS available to buy over the internet EVERY single show.

I don't think I could possibly be more interested listening to this man tell his story, just great, it ties so many things about the show together--greatly appreciated.

There are only a few episodes on DVD. There were over 650 shows over the years and only about three dozen are on DVD and not that many more are even on TV.
