  • I must say that EG looks fantastic. I have a couple of Bamfords and yours is as good as I have seen. LIDL is one of my haunts too!

  • Hi Mike..... interesting set of springs. you wouldn't happen to have one in that set that would be strong enough to keep the kick stand of my bike up do you? Every time I use the bike I have to take the stand off as it doesn't have a spring :L

  • i wanted a ruston pb, couldn't find one so got the petter, thanks for showing the springs.

my video of my petter is up now if you want to take a look.

  • That Bamford looks stunning, looks to be one of the best around!

I'm restoring my Wolseley and it should be the same colour, but a video will appear when it's done.....

Those wedges look the perfect thing for engines, I use angle iron but it doesn't grip that well on concrete, will have to get some of those.

Those open cranks are going for silly money these days, best look round some farms and see if you can find something. The PB's are great engines....I'm not biased lol!

  • I like Lidl and Aldi too, you can get some bargains there, i got a box the same size as yours full of different size fibre washers.

My W1 didn't have a spring on the governer and i did the same as you and made one fit and it works ok.

  • Its good to hear you sold the morris engine for what you wanted it always works that way you get some spare money and something crops up to spend it on.

I like the wheel chocs I need something like that to stop my welder moving about in my trailer.
