wow that brought back so many emotions, and old memories of sitting in my parents old living room ...watching on our little tv. I grew up with this show, i was quite small watching these earlier episode and as i grew they grew into junior high, high and the new generation they have now. awesome show!

@jenzeppelin That's EXACTLY what I think of the new Degrassi!! What was great about the original show is that there was a sense of realism to it. What there is now is all slick, Hollywoody and completely unreal!!

what i like about KDS is it is based more on real issues that a kid may have. real life. they should had just named the show "LIFE!"...forget "KDS".
not the whole "dating" stuff that DNG is based on most the times. DJH & DH was not always based on "dating". More about "school-spirit".
this new crap airing on "teen nick" is purely about "who is dating who". like there is more to life then "dating".

@blitzvomitew16 I completely agree with everything you said. And, you're right - the new one is who's-dating-who...typical of the crap so many kids watch these days...it's more like 90210 than Degrassi High.

does anyone know where i can get this music in the longer version? i remember it was played (at least in some episodes) on the end of each episode and i loved it.

@paulomato71 If I come across a longer version, I will let you know. I managed to find this piece online a long time ago on a site that hosted tv themes. There are also complete episodes of this fine program on "Syllacrostics" channel.
