my mom let me do mine in like 5th grade. I think I was 10. I didn't bleach until recently (I'm 28). I have to say it wasn't a pleasant experience as far as the bleaching but I think that's because my stylist kinda went overboard and it got to be too much. I've used colors with bleach already in them and they worked nicely :)

"Princess" is my dghtr, she's 10 yrs old. Princess wishes to dye her hair but I only let her dye it with koolaid. She's watched this video and now she really wants to bleach. I told her what would happen to her hair if she bleach. I love't when she so creative and artistic but she'll have 2 wait on bleaching. "Happy Holiday". Princess mom....

@vaultofvalufa246 Carley's mom, here. Sorry for the late reply. Your heart is in the right place, but you may be worrying too much. Bleaching is just more of a commitment-- either you keep redoing the process or you bleach again and dye it closer to her natural colour if she decides she wants to go back. There are a lot of alarmists here when it comes to bleach. No, her hair is not going to fall out (if done properly) or be permanently damaged. I'm sure you're a great mom-- just have fun!
