Aston Martin V8 Vantage vs Audi R8 vs Porsche 911 Turbo

Car and Driver Comparison Test of Porsche 911 Turbo Audi R8 and Aston Martin V8 Vantage.

Hard to choose between the three:
-the Audi R8 is the coolest
-the Aston Martin V8 Vantage is the best looking
-the Porsche 911 Turbo has the best driving dynamics

Being a Porsche fan, I would have to give the nod to the 911 Turbo.

Aston martin's are better in exterior design and build quality. they are not mass produced like porsche 911s...accept for the Carrera GT and the GT3/GT2 rs models. Thats it though. in performance and in handling, Porsche wipes the floor with AM's accept the new AM 77 hyper car. and you said audi and the r8 is a girl's car..you bugging. the r8 v8 is crap...but the v10 and GT models are no joke! they can keep up alright.

the audi R8 GT spyder is 235,000 dollars brand new. the GT coupe is 210,000 and the regular r8 v10 spyder is about 190. i wouldnt call it a poor man's anything. a lambo is more...i know. and the only aston martin that would keep up with a porsche 911 turbo is a AM vanquish S. they are 525 HP and over 500 pound ft. top speed is 204 MPH. 0-60 in 3.7 seconds. dont shame on aston

WTF....are you guys serious??? Audi R8 is a Lamborghini gallardo wannabe aka poor man's lamborghini gallardo( of course r8 is not cheap at all, but it's much cheaper than a lambo), Porsches are just the best fucking cars ever made, aston martins are useless, it sucks in every category, a fuck v12 version barely produces 500hp, shame on you aston.

Fact if the matter is the 911 is the most efficient and has back seats. If you're talking practicality, look no further. Not to mention the more recent 911s are just as fast as the other two, even in the far less expensive carrera S trim. Sad the GTR didn't come out at the time though, it would have torn those 3 a new one. ;P

@davyjones800 are you INSANE! Aston Martin better than Porsche? in what catagory!? Your whole arguments is founded on "looks". Porsche, ANY Porsche, is a mans car. This video/test/experiment is totally biased. THEY felt scared to go full throttle in the curves, that's their fault. No way in hell R8 could  beat a Porsche! R8 and Audi are little girls' car.
