@amethystluv I believe they are young adult, and under the name 1800-where-r-you by Meg cabot. I remember loving the series as a kid.

i started watching the show because I loved Caterina Scorsone in the Syfy movie Alice, and wanted to see what else (if anything) there was to watch with her in it.
The show caught me up almost immediately. I didn't care for the cast changes after season one, but they grew on me quickly.
Question-
I'm having a hard time finding the books. Are they in fiction, science fiction, young adult, whatever? And are they worth reading?
