Gandalf vs. Dumbledore - the Truth

CONCERNING COMMENTS AND DEBATES:
As of February 2011 I am no longer making any huge efforts to debate in the comments section. It's taking up a lot of my time and pretty much every argument brought up these days is something I've heard already (and debated extensively). It's been fun but the subject is pretty worn out, so I'm going to turn my attention and energy to other things. Honestly, I don't even see most the comments being posted anymore.

If you really think you have an intelligent argument and want to debate, your best bet is to send me a message. But please check the comments first to make sure it hasn't been heard already!

Who would really win in a fight between Gandalf and Dumbledore? No contest! Watch and see why.
This fight is assuming that both Gandalf (Olorin) and Dumbledore have access to their full power, and that they are the only two persons involved in the fight.

I'm not going to argue about the 2, however she seems to be really biased and opinionated to only Lord of the Rings. If a Battle occurred, which I don't think it would, I believe they would be friends because there both wise and cunning, and the most Powerful Wizard's of existence, however if a Duel was to occur I believe it would go on for days upon days. Like how she says how Gandalf can make a hole and Dumbledore would fall in, well he certainly wouldn't. It's far from our deciding.

Anyway, I never actually said that Dumbly had that good of chance of winning. Just he would give a better fight then he is given credit for.

But your other point is extremely valid, Dumbledor is mainly a pacifist, and only believes in fighting to save others and for love. So yeah, what the hell happened for them to be fighting in the first place!

@LA666zara Perhaps if dumbeldor does win, Gandalf isn't real. He is an angelic manifestation that was sent by the creator God, Eru to guide humans, protect them and the futrue of Middle-Earth.

I think if Dumbly and gandalf where real, I think they'd both, instead of fight, would go on a stroll through the forests with a pipe and takl about their lives.

in my opinion, however, I think Gandalf would win because he is the holder of Narya, Glamdring and has more experiance than Dumbly :)

And that is without mentioning Dumbledores greatest asset, his brain. He is not only extremely skilled, but also amazingly intelligent. After all, he managed to beat an opponent who had the elder wand in order to get it.

So if he won that battle when the odds were against him, then I think he would have a much better chance and that it would be a much more even match then you think.

Also, I just have to point out, the hole beneath his feat thing, one word. Apparition to name the simplest way.

No offence but if you knew all the facts about Dumbledore you would be J.K Rowling. She leaves him as a mystery. Now I'm not that bigger LOTR fan, at all actually. But I think Dumbledore would have a much better chance then you think.

Sure from what you have said about Gandolf in a 1v1 head on battle Dumbledore is probably going to go down. But you have to remember he has the elder wand which is supposedly a wand made by Death.

So even with power against power he would put up a fight.
