It's "Matt" Moore's 1st Bowman Chrome card this year. Last year, it was "Matthew" Moore's 1st Bowman Chrome card. My sources tell me that 2012 will produce the 1st Bowman Chrome card of "Mat" Moore.

@ApeQuake All guide prices are artificial. In any case, we, as collectors, pay a price based on old out dated concepts. The rookie card got expensive back in the day because so many people threw them away unless they were set builders. They wanted the stars of their day. Kind of like the first issue of a comic book. Back in the day, the number of books printed started low and build up. Now the #1 issue might be the most plentiful ever printed for the run.

It's just a stupid mistake.

At first I thought it was going to be one is the base and the other is a prospect, but they are both prospects. *shrug*

At a guess, someone got lazy and relied on the spelling of the name. Kind of like the problem with having multiple Pedro Martinez playing at the same time.

So not lying as much as being lazy. :-)

@aladansamat- I would say it does. Because alot of people try to get cards designated as the players " first bowman chrome card " Especially since Matt Moore is a very sought after guy right now. This not only confuses collectors but saturates the market with more cards that has this " first bowman chrome card" logo on it. It matters also because this only benifits Topps and no one else. So you could draw the suspision that topps made the card knowing they were lieing.
