  • Cellulose is such a better product only an uninformed idiot would stand up for Fiberglass

If you doubt it get a plumbers torch light a 1'x1 pile of cellulose and a piece of r-30 same size and see which burns faster

I know the answer and it's made from paper

  • Sponsored by a cellulose manufacturer. WOW thats reliable stuff there. Wonder if they installed the cellulose wet? Hmmmmmmm? I don't know what is more retarded, a cellulose company making a "controlled burn test" or people that could actually believe what they are seeing is a true comparison. Best part, guess which house I would want at the end, THE ONES BURNED TO THE GROUND! You think I would want to deal with fire damage, or just build a new home? Its only good advertising is to stupid people

  • There's another experiment worth noting - search for "John Meeks Explains Cellulose vs. Fiberglass"

  • You can blow rockwool into atticts too.

  • Why pretend that it is just cellulose? The truth is that it is cellulose with a LOT of added low-temperature flux (boron compounds)., There is nothing at all wrong with these additives, in fact, they make this a great product, but it is in no sense whatsoever "recycled" or "green" or cheap.

  • What a great piece of information for those that put Cellulose down.

  • Well done. Now do another comparison with Expanding Foam....

  • i wonder what would have happened if they had insulated between floors.
