This shows the final confrontation against the SA-X. This is it. You finally get to blow this bi-otch to pieces, and, if you're anything like me, you'll love every second of it {=D

Afterwards, there is some quick escaping, then the real final battle begins.

Some people are confused here; the SA-X is not helping you, but instead trying to destroy the Metroids for the sake of the X parasites. This is because Metroids are the only thing in the universe capable of consuming, and destroying the X-parasites. This makes it seem like it is helping you, but in reality, it is trying to save it's own ass.

  • I don't buy what the video description says about the SA-X not actually helping you. It is heavily implied that the X are intelligent (or rather, that they are when they copy intelligent humans).

The X also seem to have a sort of hive mind, or at least they communicate very closely.

Thus, the SA-X would have to know that there wasn't any point in destroying the Metroid. Another one (Samus) had already doomed the entire species. The Samus Metroid is arguably the greater threat, too.

  • My observation was based on a similar fact that yeah, everything is fucked to explode, but still, it insists on destroying the Metroid as opposed to Samus, even after it already fought Samus and lost. This leads me to think it is more concerned with destroying its natural predator to ensure the survival of future X parasites, than Samus, which can already beat it in combat.

  • 1:10: What the crap??????????

  • ...greater scale. Originally X-parasites had no capacity for such things but if they truly can mimic things structurally, they most likely can mimic the human brain and thus began to experience other human-based stimuli including complex thought.

  • SA-X indeed didn't help Samus because she's the X parasite butt buddy. As we all know, it infected human hosts thus acquiring human intelligence and the capacity of thought. Although we don't know if emotion was ever fully acquired it did gain two things: fear and survival instinct. The Metroids are it's natural predator so it fears it probably to the point where it succumbs to irrational thought and behavior. While Samus is a threat due to her Metroid infused DNA, an actual Metroid is one on a

  • Also had the X killed the omega, it more than likely would've finished samus off because even if it died, it would have saved the X parasites on SR388 therefore preserving the life of its race and its hive mind.

  • I went LOL ROFL XD TROLOLOL when the dicrcipton said "Some people are confused here; the SA-X is not helping you, but instead trying to destroy the Metroids for the sake of the X parasites. • Nice desync.

  • thanks for uploading this man, i got so frustrated of playing this game as a kid and my frustration ended upon seeing this, i could not beat it yet this ending has made me feel like i accomplished something

  • ya know i always wondered what would happen if SA-X got infected with phazon or if dark samus got infected with an X-parasite!...or even worse!... A phazon SA-X teamed up with an DSA-X (dark samus-x) and went to aether and somehow fused with eachother and got themselves infected with the ING! but yea this is pretty impossible to happen XD

  • Actually, I think that the SA-X sensed danger being caused by the Omega Metroid, but when the SA-X discovered it wasn't strong enough to face the Omega Metroid, it lent Samus its powers, knowing from the previous fight that Samus was stronger, and more likely to defeat the Omega Metroid so that the X parasites had a better chance of survival. So, the SA-X was helping its own race by helping Samus. It was a strategic move that was an assist. So, RexZemenheart, you're right and wrong.
