@Giao1 As far as the assylums go, the horrors you hear are just stories. I have been in several maximum security psychiatric hospitals and they are nothing like you hear about. If you are alredy in the army you can do stuff to get you kicked out. And you don't need a serious injury to get discharged. Shooting yourself in a body part that is non lethal and won't cause any permanent damage.

You are already in the army, so unless you have a time machine...

It would need to be a pretty serious injure, one that could very well leave you handicaped for the rest of your life, nad maybe you have friends in the field, or maybe your country is being invaded and you are torn between defending everything you know or escaping the horrors of war, etc.

@Giao1 Prison- if it is a major crime where you will be spending it in maximum security prison, passing off as a schizophrenic is a lot easier than you might think. That way you can trade in a concrete cell for a padded one.

Being in the army- don't join the army

in war- injure yourself and get honorably discharged
