respectfully Bushi Sensei is the reason why we train Kama kata. If it were not for any of the bushi sensei their would not be any Kata to do with weapons, but to call this a kata is to spit on their graves. It is obvious that it is not a traditional Kata...but might I ask why you take your shirt off?...

So many tournament katas, this one for example, show a high degree of athletic ability but no practical bunkai. His kamas are just props for some type of kicking kata. He demonstrates little proficiency or skill with his chosen weapon.

for some of my kata's with weapons i take off my gi top as well to avoid it hooking in the bagginess of the sleeve

I am wondering, why does he only throw one kick with his left leg? What martial art would create such a one sided kata?

What is wrong with his left leg. He only kicks with his right side. I witnessed 2 competitors in CT a few years ago perform a similar kama kata and one guy stuck himself in the ass and the other sliced off a piece of his ear. Great performance for torture suicide.

The Gi top had to come off so he can impress himself to the women in the audience. Line of for autographs and kisses at the end of his performance. He really loves himself. How many women actually lined for the the autographs from Ninja Turtle man?
