Message to all...tacp doesn't call in the airstrikes...jtag does but in order to become jtag you need at least 2 years tacp...

@G3CK0117 Enlist in the Air Force, score high enough on the ASVAB (easy), put down Combat Controller as a career choice (make sure recruiter knows thats what u want), run, swim, and excercise like crazy, and pray you get picked. From there all you've got left is the hard part.

@jonvagnier hell yeah man, they use it to call in artillery and air strikes. Can't exactly do that much damage with just small arms

Does anyone know if, as a commissioned officer(hopefully), what would I do as a combat controller or TACP? Would I be on the field or would I just be planning out missions?
